DevOps has always been focused on overcoming barriers to deliver value. Data can and does play a big part in knowing if that goal is being met. Whether you’re focused on the last mile or your entire value stream, every action we take generates data in one form or fashion. Too often we focus on data quantity in an attempt to measure everything, but that can wreak havoc on your ability to see the signals in the midst of all the noise. In contrast to the Monitoring and Observability track, we focus on metrics and measurements related to people and processes.
DevOps practitioners will share their knowledge and experience to help you know what signals to look for, what data you require, how to ensure your data use doesn’t drive harmful behaviours, and more.
