In this talk, we will dive into how AWS CDK helps us developers take advantage of the full power of modern programming languages to not only define Infrastructure as Code (IaC), but to build reusable components that can be shared across teams, contrasting this with template-based IaC definitions. Throughout the session, we will use established Serverless patterns to illustrate CDK’s concepts through some fun live coding in the Java programming language.
