The DevOps culture in cloud-based companies brings also the requirement to increase the number of developers or team members that are able to trigger deployments to the production data centers. The Production engineer moves from the gatekeeper role to the enabler role and is required to provide a creative tools that can safely deploy to production or rollback easily, if needed. In that way – the Production engineer dependency is significantly decreased.

In this talk, we’d like to show a case study of end-to-end solution which provides both safe and easy way to run multiple and instant deployments to production on a daily basis by the quality and development team members. The DevOps process have been developed internally at LivePerson and increased the accountability and the commitment by the team members. LivePerson is a purely cloud and microservices based company, and market leader in real-time intelligent customer engagement.
