Everyone is adapting Cloud Native, not only cloud-born companies but more and more cloud pioneers with a heavy footprint: Legacy applications, compliance and auditing requirements, and adapting existing culture and processes are amongst the core challenges. LeanIX has helped large enterprises for quite some time to establish a modern, collaborative Enterprise Architecture which provides information about the IT landscape to many different stakeholders. Some challenges stay the same with Cloud Native, while topics like Cloud Security and dynamic Cloud Spend requires a reshift of attention. This talk shares LeanIX’s experiences on how to reconcile technical and business views in the Cloud, based on automatic data scanning from AWS, Azure, Kubernetes or CI/CD pipelines. In particular, we share insights on how companies set up a smart Cloud Governance which reconciles the desired technical freedom with the needs to ensure Compliance and Cost Management.
