Kubernetes Workshop: Running a Cluster (Day 2)
Kuberentes may be easy to install, but it’s not easy to get all the moving parts right.
In this workshop we explore what needs to be done in a Kubernetes cluster to improve security, reliability and team work.
Content & Process
In this workshop we wil look at logging, auditing and monitoring of different elements of the cluster and applications in the cluster.
Additionally, we set up a k8s cluster for usage by multiple teams by adding correct RBAC and admission controllers.
Finally, we build a small CICD pipeline which performs various auditing tests before it applies changes to the cluster.
Audience & Requirements
The workshop is for people who already know the basics of k8s.The participants also need a working knowledge of kubectl and SSH.
Although not mandatory, participants should have kubectl installed on their machine and a working SSH client (putty for Windows users). Most of the tasks will be done through a console available via a web browser.
