In a cloud native world, applications are updated and delivered more frequently than ever with verbose communications on their health and wellbeing. Even though we have made significant progress in the past years on managing continuous delivery, there is even more the burden for IT Operations to keep the pace and guarantee high service level objectives. In order to achieve this, it is key to keep mean time to detect, identify, know, repair and resolve as low as possible. Here, automation obviously is the way forward. Not only in problem resolution, but also in problem detection and diagnostics. Artificial intelligence with machine learning delivers that into IT Operations, with the benefit of better understanding of events, impacts and failure root causes. By applying machine learning capabilities on structured and unstructured, logging, monitoring and events data, it is possible to proactively address incidents before they occur or resolve actual incidents more efficiently. In the talk we will explain our view on AIOps and demo how these concepts are capable of supporting IT Operations to bring them to the next level of insight.
